Ranu Pratap Singh is a polyglot architect and engineering leader with over 11 years of relevant experience. He specializes in delivering best-in-class products and is a leader, mentor, and coach. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Multipie Social, Ranu is responsible for product development, engineering management, software architecture, and team building. He is well-versed in design patterns and maintains high efficiency in software development. Prior to his current role, Ranu served as the Head of Engineering at Unilodgers, where he led teams to deliver world-class experiences in student housing. He was responsible for choosing the best people and technology for the job, conducting code reviews, and getting his hands on coding as well. Before that, he worked as the Director of Engineering at PayU, where he directly managed and guided multiple teams responsible for Chargeback, Merchant Onboarding, Partner Platform, and OnePayU. He was responsible for taking top-level key decisions on technology in those areas and empowering a brilliant young team of engineers. Ranu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, along with Intermediate and High School degrees in Maths and Science, respectively.
